Goodbye Gathering

Goodbye Great Grandpop Cluff. You will be missed.

We told Eli we were going to a goodbye gathering and that we had to get dressed up. In response to that he said "I want to dress up like Thomas(the Tank Engine)." They are so literal at this age.

First Steps

Asher took his first steps today! He is not "walking" around yet, it is more like taking 2 quick steps then falling toward mommy. He was excited to practice his new skill though. Maybe by his first birthday in 4 days he will have more control. He has all 8 front teeth and 2 of his molars are coming in.
He seems to really love animals. He kept wanting to pet the horse and feed it, and he also likes to hug Daisy when ever she holds still(which is not often).
He just had a check up and he is doing great. He weighs 25 lbs. already!

Lego Days

Eli has been really in to his Legos lately. When the neighbor girl Nicole comes over after school, we dump them all on the drive way and they create until dinner time. They usually make buildings and call they cozy cones (from the movie CARS), and they set up the trains and tracks too.

Longwood Gardens

A few weeks ago we went to Long wood Gardens with some friends. I really wanted to go to see the Treehouse Dan helped to build there.

There was an indoor interactive children's garden. Both of the kids loved it and Eli got soaking wet. They spent a lot of time playing in the fog pond.ELi painting with water on the castle walls.

Asher loves to splash-watch out!

Here is the Treehouse Dan helped build. Wow, it was amazing!

There were so many details.

Dan on TV

Recently Dan did an interview about tree houses with the local TV news station. You can watch it by clicking on the link on the right side that says "Dan on TV". I'm not sure how long they will keep this story up, so if it has been a while since the date that I posted this it may not work.
